Create an Installation

Follow these steps to create a new installation. Choose your platform:

Mobile App

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Installations and tap New Installation.
3. Enter a Name and Location (required).
   • Location can be set via GPS or entered manually (uses Place Autocomplete).
4. Save. The new installation becomes active automatically and appears in your list.

Web Portal

1. Sign in to the Portal.
2. Go to Installations → Create.
3. Provide a Name and Location (required). Use address entry; autocomplete may assist.
4. Save. Use advanced options for access and metadata if available.

Expected Result

• A new installation appears in your list and is selectable as active context.

Troubleshooting

• If creation fails, confirm network connectivity and your account permissions.
• Ensure location permissions are granted when using GPS on mobile.
