Overview

This guide introduces how to use Twist as an end-user on both the Mobile App and the Web Portal. The Portal offers a few advanced controls in addition to what’s available on mobile.

  • Create a TWIST account, sign in, and recover password if needed.
  • Create or join an Installation (requires name and location).
  • Add Products via discovery or QR scan (offline pre-provisioning supported).
  • Control Products from the Dashboard and Product screens.
  • Create Scenes (shortcuts) and Automations (time/event-based).
  • Receive weather data from the Gateway and notifications.
